Custom Tile Shower Installation in Swansea MA
Another custom tile shower project completed by Thibeault Home Improvement in Swansea, MA. This homeowner replaced an existing tub and surround with a custom walk-in tile shower — a conversion we do regularly throughout Swansea and the surrounding southeastern Massachusetts communities. Tub-to-shower conversions are one of our most common bathroom remodeling requests, and for good reason. They make bathrooms feel more open and modern, and consistently appeal to future home buyers.
We removed the existing tub and surround completely, inspected the subfloor and framing, and rebuilt with cement board walls, a custom shower pan pitched to the drain, and waterproofing membrane at all seams and corners before any tile went up. All grout was sealed on completion to protect the finished shower from daily moisture.
